Second and last test match between host India and New Zealand will be played from Friday, 31st August to Tuesday, 4th September, 2012 M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore and the timing will be 04:00 GMT, 9:30 IST. India leading the 2 match series by 1-0.

India had dominated the entire 1st test with both bat and ball. Chitteshwar Pujara made a solid come back after injury with a brilliant century while R Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha bowled really well in the spin friendly pitch. India has a good chance to make a clean sweep as the Bangalore pitch will be similar.

New Zealand has to overcome the fear of spin as they were totally clueless against the spin as none of their batsmen were able to fight. Guptil, McCullum and captain Ross Taylor needs to play with patience and give solid platform for the otherwise in experience line-up.

India is playing first test since the retirement of Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman and now they definately have less experience in the middle order and now lot of pressure will come on Tendulkar, Pujara and Dhoni. Pitch will supposed to be in favour of spinners so     

New Zealand will definately miss services of Daniel Vettori on the spinner friendly pitches as they have very new spin attack against strong batting line up. They will highly depend on Ross Taylor, Brandon McCullum and Guptill to score big runs.

Indian selectors announced the 15 members test squad  for the upcoming 2 match test series against New Zealand starting from 23rd August. Shachin Tendulkar has returned to international cricket after 6 months while VVS Laxman has retained his place. Pujara also back in team due to good show in the tour of West Indies for A team. 

Ajinkya Rahane also included in the team with Piyush Chawla as a surprise while Ishant Sharma also make a come back after injury. Ojha and Ashwin will be other spinners as Suresh Raina also returned to the test team.
